Protection of the surgical table and instrumentation |
To protect the patient and sterile surgical instruments against contamination from air, the laminar ceilings are used. The appliance is built in directly into the air inlet duct in the ceiling above the surgical table, feeding a continuous one-direction flow of sterilized air into the operation zone. The device should provide H14-gradeair filtration with microbial inactivation efficiency at least 99%. The laminar field area is at least 9m2.

Reducing the air flow from outside |
In view of considerable air consumption, in many cases it will be advantageous to provide the one-direction air flow by the ventilation system with partial air recirculation (air is taken partly from the outside, and partly mixed with the air from inside the premises) provided the air is filtered and disinfected on filters of H14 grade or higher with bacterial inactivation efficiency at least 99%. This setup provides a considerable energy saving on heating or cooling the intake air by the ventilation equipment. Such air recirculation setup can be implemented by the laminar ceiling systems, connected either to air-return columns, or to the recirculation sections which provide the admixing of the room air.
Equipment: Recirculating wall-mounted air-return column -RP is suitable for all models of Tion laminar ceilings

Ensuring necessary air recycling rate and air cleanliness |
For the adult patient wards, examination and consultation rooms and other premises without aseptic conditions the filtration of the inlet air is prescriptively bound to comply with F7-F9 grades. This requirement can be satisfied by a centralized ventilation with air cleaning function, or, in its absence – by a compact autonomous air inlet ventilation with air cleaning functions to be installed in every room.
Equipment: Compact inlet ventilation Tion В120 (inlet air cleaner and decontaminator)

Protection of critical operations in drug manufacturing |
To protect critical operations, such as bottling and packing, against infecting from air, the appliances with one-direction air flow can be used. The laminar ceiling or cell is built in directly into the air inlet duct in the ceiling directly above the working zone, feeding a continuous one-direction flow of sterilized air. The device should provide the air filtration grade H14 with microbial inactivation efficiency on filters at least 99%. The laminar field area of the device is chosen according to the clean working zone.
Equipment: Laminar flow cells Tion B Lam-М1 (600х600х400mm), Tion B Lam-М2 (1200×600х400mm).
Laminar ceilings Tion B Lam-2 (1800х1000х400mm); for low ceilings: Tion B Lam-2 H290 (1800х1000х290mm).

Disinfection and cleaning of the inlet air |
In the assistant, inspection, processing, filling, sealing, control- and marking, sterilizing, autoclave and distillation rooms the inlet air is fed through the ventilation system with cleaning and disinfection functions on filters with H11 grade or higher and with microbial inactivation efficiency not less than 95%. Since regulatory prescriptions as to the air recycling rate are not high (4 volumes/hour), for the small rooms up to 50 m2 sometimes it is reasonable to install a compact autonomous inlet ventilation with air cleaning rather than a centralized duct ventilation system.
Equipment: For centralized inlet ventilation: air cleaners and decontaminators with floor- and suspension mounting: Tion В150T (performance 300 to 900 m3/h) and Tion В1000T (2000 and 3000 m3/h); floor-mounted models: Tion В150 (performance 300 to 2400 m3/h) and Tion В1000 (2000 to 25000 m3/h).
For small areas without centralized ventilation: compact inlet ventilation device Tion B120 (up to 120 m3/h) with H11 air filtering grade.

Ensuring necessary air recycling rate and air cleanliness |
In the pharmacy premises, such as control and analysis, washing, unpacking rooms, and stocking depots, the air cleanliness requirements are not specified, but such rooms are subject to airflow regulations. These can be satisfied with a central forced exhaust ventilation system, or, if it is impossible, – by installing a compact inlet ventilation with air cleaning function into every separate room.
Equipment: Compact inlet ventilation Tion В120 (air inlet cleaner and decontaminator).
